new cd art



This is the cover for a new Wizard Rock compilation CD called "Wizards
& Muggles Rock for Social Justice.
It's a benefit for the HP Alliance, a charitable organization dedicated to forming an international network of activists and assisting them in their efforts
to tackle a variety of social, environmental and political issues!
--Also I think they really like reading Harry Potter books and rocking out.
The CD was produced by Matt Maggiacomo at Cheap Rent. You can
pre-order it off the Cheap Rent myspace page.

Ha! That looks wonderful! Though that poor Muggle looks like he could use a nap, with those circles under his eyes.

Let the rift between wizards and muggles be healed!

Heh heh, the dark circles are actually supposed to be makeup ala the look recently sported by Green Day, My Chemical Romance etc. But yeah muggles need naps too!

Wow, yeah! I love the texture, too, and the limited palette. Gorgeous!

(How does the copyright work for that? I guess they got permission to use all teh Harry Potter stuff...)

No I think it's mostly under the copyright radar.
I know on the Harry and the Potters CD's they specifically have a disclaimer that it's inspired by and not really connected to in any way officially.

Wow, the combination of your cartooning style and that old socialist poster design style is perfect. I would love to see a comic done with that treatment!
