Join Raina Telgemeier, Matt Loux, and Dave Roman on Sunday, November 9, as they celebrate the release of three kid-friendly graphic novels: Baby-sitters Club #4: Claudia and Mean Janine; Salt Water Taffy #2: A Climb Up Mt. Barnabas; and The Adventures of Tymm #1: Alien Circus!

They'll be at Brooklyn's favorite comics store: ROCKETSHIP!

Parents and kids welcome! Cookies and Ice cream will be served!
You can also cast your ballot in Nickelodeon Magazine's first-ever "Best Kids' Graphic Novel" Awards at the event! The awards will honor the best comic books and animated novels for kids published across the U.S.

I really really really wish I could be in Brooklyn for that, but sadly I'm four states away. BUT! the next time I am in the area, I will make an effort to find that store and shop there... The website makes it look pretty cool. ^_^

(How many times can I put "really" into that first sentence before it stops being emphatic and starts getting annoying? I want to use one less than that amount. )

Yeah, if you can make it out to Brooklyn, Rocketship is the so worth the trip. It's in great area for breakfast places as well! I went there this spring and it was such a perfect day.
