This weekend I'll be at Toronto Comics Art Fest!

Old Victoria College
93 Charles St. W
Toronto, Ontario
Saturday, August 18: 10 AM - 7 PM
Sunday, August 19: 10 AM - 6 PM
Admission is FREE,

TCAF is one of the coolest small press comics shows in North America!
I'll be with my friends at the Comics Bakery.

There will be lots of great comics-making friends from around the world too.

You can find me at Table #VC2FOY on the second floor of the Old Vic building; and making visits to the OWLKIDS Family Tent, (outside in the quad next to the building) where I will be discussing how Nickelodeon uses a lot of the same artists as Owl magazine but how we make them look so much cooler in the process. ;)
Also we'll be discussing America's foreign policy legislation over cookies and milk.

Raina will officially be debuting her new BSC graphic novel, Mary Anne Saves the Day --which people are saying is the best one yet. Go buy and decide for yourself!

As far as I know it's in limited quantities.
But I guess that kills my joke ;)

Hello new LJ friend - this is Kristina from the Parselmouths. I love your "current music" on this entry. ;)

I was a HUGE babysitter club fan when I was younger... where can I check out that graphic novel?

Hey Kristina!

Just got back from an artfest in Toronto where I was hyping the wizard rock scene to so many people.
And amazingly when I got back to the hotel saturday night there was a news report about it on a local news station! It didn't cover that many bands or even refer to HaTP by name, but still pretty cool.

The Babysitter's Club graphic novels should be pretty available at most bookstores in the Independent Reader section or Favorite Series within the childrens section. But of course amazon.com is always well stocked and has discounts!

Definitely keep in touch. LJ friended!
